These pagan beasts brought forth grief

To the monastery to find my families boon
Never to taste blood again.

By my Norseman blood I swore an oath
To hang the sword by hearth and Hird.
This weathered sword reclaimed upon ruined alters
I proclaim through pain; The quest is not in vain.

Returning home this ship travels by tormented seas
Aegir and kin conspire, to take my treasure from me
Trapped by his trident gleam, Imprisoned by their siren songs
What magick is this? I am ill equipped! To carry this burden for long.

Seas bellow and roar, waves as high as great halls
Driven by the spirts of Norse
They require a toll, so through hell I’ll go
Forced into the vile deep.
